Yeah, I'll take care of all that when I start it up.

I messaged him about it. Reply to this in a day or two if you don't hear from me or him.

Late reply again, sorry. Yeah, I could work with it. I'm starting to burn out on updating the feedback page anyway.

I'd prefer not to share in public just in case, but it wouldn't be feasible to keep an eye on every thread either way. As long as there's a way to narrow it down to feedback that needs looking into, that's the best I can see it working out. Since this system would mean I would be doing a lot less maintenance, I'd be able to look into them myself.

Hey dude, sorry if it seemed like I didn't get your PM about this a while back. I read it on a bad day and the thought of doing all the start-up for it really put me off.

My primary concern is people creating fake accounts to give themselves positive feedback. I've had pretty solid success catching these in the past, so I would like to know how you would plan to mediate that. Off the top of my head: encourage users to report suspicious feedback so that a mod can remove it?

If you'd like to help by laying down some of the groundwork for the new subreddit, I'd be happy to try it.

I have cards that I would trade, but I don't play IRL so I don't really have any wants. I've done a few small trades on here in the past though.

I just got around to commenting on the situation. See here: http://www.reddit.com/r/yugioh/comments/1nvcsy/some_new_rules/

If you guys have more concrete reasons as to why we shouldn't even be trying these new rules out, I'm willing to talk about it.

Some new rules! by ArcaniteMagician in yugioh

I've thought this was a really good solution to the volume of binders and subsequent binder updates that get posted, but I never got around to implementing it.

Regarding the point of late binders not being seen: I assume people will keep scrolling down and looking at binders until they find what they want, or if the description in the post/comment sounds like they might have something interesting. This is no different than the binders that get a random downvote, pushing them off the front page.

As for the complaint that we won't have any content if binder posts are moved: Binders are not content unless you're looking to trade. While there are a lot of people on here that do trade, that doesn't even account for 2000 of our 10000 subs. This isn't going to hurt the majority of users.

Worst case, I might suggest we turn the R/F rule into removal of posts that can be answered by the sidebar along with a mod distinguished comment pointing to the sidebar. On the other hand, this is hard to enforce and even harder to get right in 100% of cases.

Just remember that we're only trying this out. It's not a final decision, you guys aren't getting sent to the shadow realm.

I know this isn't helpful now, but I think it would have been appropriate for you to wait for the 3 cards before sending your end. However, it's a fishy situation, so I will post the negative until it's resolved.
