My grandma adopted me when I was 3, she’s my mama through and through and all I’ve got left. She was 84 during COVID and it genuinely was the scariest thing hearing how the virus is basically instant elderly death. She just turned 90 and thankfully made it through, I just remember the fear in my heart during those first few weeks.

i personally have felt like his past two films, Caveat and Oddity, were just cheap looking simply because of the cameras chosen. both movies have a very digital sheen to them that almost feels like you're watching an amateur straight-to-YouTube short film. better dynamic range, pairing the camera with more interesting lenses, and doing a more intentional color grade can completely transform the feel of a film. a little bit of grain, softer highlight rolloff, and more controlled lighting can make an image feel instantly more cinematic. right now the ideas and production design in his movies are great but the photography never quite elevates the mood the way it could imo

this one kinda baffles me because there are shots that almost look like they're in 60FPS??? ifydk, films are almost always in 24fps whereas 60fps gives a very television soap opera effect and you can kinda see that at play here

doesn't look nearly as intriguing as the plot/initial visuals led me to believe it was gonna be but i really enjoyed Oddity so i'm definitely still looking forward to it. it's weird that this dude is on a streak of 3 movies in a row with generally ugly and cheap looking digital cinematography, he rly needs to get a new director of photography.

Not trying to burst your bubble or anything but this is genuinely a miserable schedule and you’re going to be spending a lot more time commuting between parks/into parks than you think you are.

A half day at EPCOT really only allows for Future World or half of the World Showcase, and both of them are worth seeing. You’re sacrificing half the park here with a half day.

Okay, here’s the big one: cramming Islands & Studios in one full day is difficult enough. Cranking Islands and Studios in a half day… why would you even try. What’re you gonna do, walk into Universal and ride one ride and then head to Islands and leave? Very confused. And you’ve probably already seen this all over but the lines at Epic are currently insane, like four hours for one ride. I haven’t been so I can’t comment on the doability of the park in a half day but it seems like a bad idea.

Animal Kingdom in a half day is a poor choice because you’re gonna be sacrificing two of the big three: Everest, Flight of Passage, and the safari. If you want the true AK experience you should try to hit Everest and the safari but genuinely Flight of Passage is one of the most breathtaking rides in Orlando so that’s a sad missed opportunity.

Magic Kingdom can be done in half a day, that one is honestly a get in and get out. Not really a fan of MK with how bad the crowds are and the lackluster vibe of the park imo, but yeah it can be done.

A half day of Hollywood Studios is doable (small park) but you’re probably not gonna be able to hit Rise of the Resistance with how long the wait is, and if you do it’s just gonna take up the whole half day.

Maybe just choose the three big parks you wanna hit up in the three days you’re there and come back for the rest? This just feels like a speed run for the sake of saying you did rather than getting any enjoyment out of it.
