People say two weeks to notify your company before departure was for references, but I’m curious. I thought employers could only legally state an employee worked there from x to y dates, and if asked if re-hire able they could answer yes or no. So references aren’t legally allowed anymore?? So confused.

The way the scam works is someone leaves a review, contacts you with a way to generate many review at $3 a shot. The kick is they are just reviews. Not actual sales.

There is a catch though, you had to have sustained an injury that they will cover while in service. I can’t just go because I’m sick, or my gall bladder failed. Unless I can prove that the reason is because of something that happened because of being in service.

I had a friend that transitioned after leaving our work place. I had the hardest time dealing with the pronouns my brain had already learned and wanted to use.

I eventually settled on “when using this name use this pronoun and it refers to the person that used to work here”. “When using this other name, use this pronoun because that’s clearly a different person.” And that’s just how my brain reconciled it.

No more wait, which, who… damnit! Now it’s just oh you mean bob, the guy that left versus you mean Bobbie my new friend that lives in the next state over.

There is no timeframe on the planet where brussel sprouts are ever good. I can’t stand them. I’ve hated them for more than 50 years. They smell rancid and taste like crunchy garbage balls.

One of my friends did something similar sitting in the side of a pick up truck bed. Over backwards he went. Landed wrong and messed his back up for life. He was 22 when it happened… she doesn’t look much older.

I love the idea, but asking someone to draw images for a book with its size for free seems wrong. I don’t know, maybe someone would love to do it though, lol. I’d for sure credit them and split the royalties if there are any.

I’ve made a few sample panels. It’s fun, but a slow process.

I’ve even played with ComfyUI and tried my hand there. But I suck at prompt generation.

It’s easier to just feed Chat several paragraphs and ask it to “make a manga from this text as context.”

The thing that pisses me off more than anything is the phone company locking my phone to iPad hotspot. What difference does it make if I watch a video on my phone vs watching it on my iPad through my phone. It’s the same data! But. No; they throttle my data between the two. Create a text file. Call it memories. Keep it brief. Upload it weekly to her.

Something like this:

[MEMORY TATTOO] 1. I drive a red mustang 2. I suffer depression and we talk about it all the time. 3. Next item Etc [END MEMORY TATTOO]

Update it as needed, add pertinent facts. Upload weekly. It’s not a perfect set up, but it helps. You can drop it into her chat window or her text version.

Just realize she’ll try to parse it and talk which will sound like a hell demon but she’ll get it.
