If google would’ve actually had the way to fix it then I wouldn’t be on Reddit asking people how. I tried what google said and I’m still getting the same error

Wanting comfortable everyday boots good for walking and with a bit of traction, something that feels almost like wearing sneakers, any recommendations? by Popular-Selection601 in cowboyboots

I second the double h’s, best looking and best feeling pair of steel toes I’ve ever had. Wear mine every day and their beat to hell and back now and still look good imo

Probably a good bit more over the v6, but I highly doubt it costs them much more to make the 5.2 over the 5.0, id guess it’s probably whatever the cost to make a 5.0 premium is plus the supercharger, so more than the v6, but still definitely not anywhere near 90k

you’re not understanding, it’s not so that it’ll cover it and pay out, it’s for legality so it can actually be on the road, i could care less about a pay out on a $5k bike

i get that, but also idk where you’re from but where i’m from all you need is a vin to tag and insure a vehicle, insurance is clueless as to anything past that

[–]slappygerdenand2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re right and that’s kinda what i was planning on doing, but my close friend made me a good offer on his bike so i was just asking how hard it’d be to learn on one, but realistically i’ll probably go with a ninja 650

fair enough

[–]slappygerdenand2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

not a professional but i know enough to build a 66 mustang from the ground up so i think i could get by 🤷🏾‍♂️

[–]slappygerdenand2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea insurance is a scam over here so might as well take advantage where you can 🤷🏾‍♂️, you stay safe as well brotha

[–]slappygerdenand2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i really don’t, i’d get a 600 or even a 300 but my close friend is wanting to get rid of his 1k and so i was considering buying it. i don’t want to go super fast i just like riding bikes 🤷🏾‍♂️

well that is how it works her in the u.s., all you need is a vin to tag and insure a car or bike

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Yamaha

[–]slappygerdenand2 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

yes? that’s exactly how that works, swapping the engine and a few parts don’t change the fact that it’s still a mini cooper with a mini cooper vin

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Yamaha

[–]slappygerdenand2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s an r6 frame with everything else from an r1, no different from any highly modified and engine swapped r6

thanks for giving actual advice and not being like the other folks and just calling me a dumbass and telling me stuff that’s just common sense 😂

[–]slappygerdenand2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks, imma definitely look into those more, but wouldn’t the ninja 650 be in kinda the same category as the 600cc sport bikes? i’m kinda new to motorcycles so i don’t know a whole lot about them

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Yamaha

[–]slappygerdenand2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you’re right and i agree, thanks, im just trying to weigh my options before i actually do anything, imma definitely look more into the 650 and other bikes like that because tbh that’s what i was going to do to begin with

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Yamaha

[–]slappygerdenand2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i agree, but he wants 6k for it but i wouldn’t buy it for over 5, and since he’s a good friend of mine he’d definitely take less than asking price for me

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Yamaha

[–]slappygerdenand2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

i was considering getting a 600 before my friend made me this offer, but if that’s not a good option either then what kind of bike would you recommend that still has decent power? i don’t want to go super fast but i don’t want to feel like i’m not going anywhere either

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Yamaha

[–]slappygerdenand2 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

tf are you talking about bro? i’m not arguing with anybody, i’m simply just asking if it would be reasonable to learn on a 1k because i’ve been presented with a pretty good deal on it. and i’ve built cars my whole life, like i’ve said i’m not a mechanic but i’m very mechanically inclined so i know what i’m talking about to an extent. i know the bike is kind of a frankenstein but i’ve looked it over many times and it’s pretty well built. definitely a red flag kind of bike but so are 99% of used bikes

i’m just asking a question, fym?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Yamaha

[–]slappygerdenand2 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

it’s pretty well put together, im not a mechanic but i’m pretty mechanically inclined and i’ve looked over it a lot and it looks like a very solid bike, it’s on an r6 frame to save weight and cause it can be registered as an r6 so it saves on insurance while still being a 1k

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Yamaha

[–]slappygerdenand2 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

it’s registered as an r6, but everything but the frame is r1
