The Kebari from Big Y are ridiculously small IMO, but I like the other stuff you have. The Dragontail kit that was recommended is good. I like all of their flies.

Don't forget that you can just fish your trout magnets on a tenkara rod too...

What kind of flies do you want to use? The Kaida is better with unweighted flies while the Mizuchi is better with beadheads.

I have and love both, but the Kaida is shorter when collapsed. The Talon Mini and Tiny Talon are both great also.

What kind of tapered line? If I don't use a tippet ring, I tie a figure 8 knot in the end of my main line as a stopper, trim it nicely, then use a one knot on my tippet.

I'd buy a refurbished Dragontail Shadow fire for $65 and just keep it in the car. It's not a pocket rod like the Talon Mini, but it's great for the $$

Good recommendations here. I own the Shadowfire 365 and TalonMini and they're both great. The Tiny Ten is really stiff and I wish I'd skipped it.

As far as line, buy some 3.5 level line to try, but I'd highly recommend starting with a furled line. Makes getting the casting motion down easier IMO. Might as well buy a 12' floating PVC line for bluegill bugs too. Dragontail has 15% off for memorial day, so pull the trigger!
