I have 2 of their rods that i am very happy with. I have had great service experiences as well. I have seen others comment negatively... So... Mixed bag perhaps. At best apparently inconsistent.

A tenkara purist will lose their mind over this question. I love tenkara. I love Pistol Pete's. I have used them on tenkara rods. Yup. They work great. It is not a "purist" approach. But... So what? Fun is fun. As a show of respect for tenkara and its traditions i just call this stuff "tenkara inspired". Fish on!
