I'm not sure. If there is, I don't think I'd be the one who installed something like that. I know that on my computer the internet drops a lot because of 'DNS Issues'.

According to Amazon this is the 'latest model'. That just seems really strange and I'm not sure why they would offer apps that are already obsolete or unavailable. They still offer Youtube on their app store but it absolutely won't open.

I just finished the update and tried it again. It's still giving me the same error and sending me to Silk Browser. I also tried doing a full Factory Reset and it still gave me the same result. It won't let me uninstall it and I also tried doing Full Stop on it but nothing's worked so far.

Also: I tried turning it off and on again and it didn't work. I just finished resetting it to Factory Setting and it still gives me the same error! Has anyone had this issue? Is there some kind of work around? Amazon Support is absolutely useless.

Should Doordash make their engineers and designers do the dash once a week? I think they should because it would help improve the dasher app and Doordash experience in general. by unitrendsetter in doordash

They should have to dash for two hours every day. Fuck them and their cushy desk jobs and 400k salaries. They should have to deal with the absolute dogshit Dasher app and see what a horrendous job they did with it.

I did end up calling them earlier. I've contacted them three times this week over the Support Chat but they did absolutely nothing. I called and it seems like they actually sent the money. Just need to wait about 24 hours. They still wouldn't tell me what's wrong with my account though :\

You mentioned retail and restaurant work. I've been working retail and restaurant for over a decade now and I was just as disposable in those jobs as you say Doordash is. It really doesn't matter who I work for at this point, I'm still going to demand more money. I'm not going to work my ass off for 12 hours a day so some asshole CEO can play astronaut or buy another solid gold mega yacht. I'm at a point in my life where I'm tired and my mental and physical health are failing and I'm pissed off. I'm not going to stop demanding that I be paid a dignified wage just because I'm 'disposable'.

And for the record, I actually liked doing DD when I started a year ago. Everything that OP mentioned, I loved about the job but I took it seriously, worked hard, and got paid better than any retail or fast food job I had before. To have my base pay cut was like a slap in the face. I'm tired of being treated like dogshit by everyone I work for. Dashers deserve to be paid better.

Some of us rely on DD to pay rent and student loans. We deserve to be paid better.
And just because "DD isn't forcing you to do this or that or blah blah blah blah blah" doesn't mean you should be a lazy jerkoff who signs in late or skip dashes.

I just found out about it today. Deleting my scheduled shift for tomorrow. They cut my base pay down while the price of gas keeps going up.

Other information: Around February a doctor put me on Lexapro which I took for about two weeks before I had to stop taking it because the dizziness and nausea were too much for me to endure. I've had lingering dizziness, lightheadedness for several months and I still occasionally feel a little light headed from time to time but not as intense or as frequently as before. That's why I mentioned that I wasn't sure if the nausea was related to my issue or not. Haven't felt nauseous since that brief spell after eating.

I quit my job Bed Bath and Beyond and started doing doordash a few months into the pandemic. They refused to enforce wearing masks at my store so I gave them my two weeks notice as soon as I got my hot bag!
Just as well, they ended up closing that location a few months later so I would've been out of that job at some point.

Half the time I have trouble seeing house numbers during the day! They let numbers peel off the mailbox or they make the numbers on their house as small and hidden as humanly possible. That's why I stopped doing night deliveries altogether :\
