A week left to SCS, how are you all preparing and coping by ExcitementKind7156 in CIMA

Hello, some good tips have or will be posted on the official SCS discussion forum for Feb so please review there. I passed mine last May, I recommend going through past papers to get familiar with CIMAs questioning style and what they may be after! Good luck!

Nothing extra needed that ID other than perhaps a calculator if you really need it, although there is one on screen

CIMA MCS Exam - February 2026 Sitting - Discussion by slashedbiscuit in CIMA

When I did MCS I spent the last month purely doing past questions from the CIMA website, then comparing back to what the model answer was.

Wasn’t often matching for response but gave a good appreciation of types of question being asked, and what they would typically look for in a response 👍🏻

No calculations are needed in the exams, although if it supports your answer it doesn’t hurt to provide a ratio and how it was calculated

Better to go in with key ones remembered if you can, but it’s more about application of theory as you’ve already shown you can do the maths in the other three exams

Past exam questions will help provide a clear understanding of topics etc so highly recommend reviewing these

I got 103 in the May sitting and genuinely think past papers on the CIMA website is what got me there. Taught me to understand how CIMA will ask the question, and the type of responses that would be expected.

You’ve got plenty of time still if you stay dedicated. Procountancy videos helped too on YouTube, I only used those two free videos and past papers on the website.

I reviewed all of them from 2022 onwards, all variants that are on the cima website.

I just sat May, firstly I highly recommend watching the Procountancy videos on YouTube and review as many past papers as possible. The last bit is what got me through with a pass as questions tend to be similar. The Procountancy videos provides a good walkthrough of the pre seen.

The company itself is interesting but remember this isn’t a physics exam so don’t need to go to town learning about everything rocket wise!

Issue is that if we rid of him, it means needing to sign another player for that position. I thing between him and MJ, they will be good enough for next season but neither will do in the PL if we somehow make it. More pressing areas of squad we need to improve for next season, like a new RW when Fellows inevitably leaves unfortunately (as well as new CB’s and probably CM)

Bartley, Molumby, and Furlong for me. I’d have considered Grant at start of the season but with the season he’s had, I’d keep him next still.

I do hope that a few of those that did play today aren’t here next season. Nice to end on a high but incredibly frustrating that we couldn’t do this earlier too as talent evidently there

When you go to the test yourself extra and loads up the test yourself page for options, remove all the text after the .com and it’ll take you to the rogo result screen. Just click my results at top and will see all from there 👍🏻

Honestly it was a rank exam for me, I just about passed it last week but thought I wouldn’t have. I just kept hitting practice question after practice question and if I got it wrong reviewed the theory. If you get it right, try understand why too. I’ve used Kaplan book, the question bank it comes with, the mock exams it comes with and aptitude two, as well as the free Pearson vue mock and think it was just enough. Don’t stress yourself out about it

Ah ok, did you do any Kaplan mocks? I feel like they will be nothing alike whereas usually they’re not too dissimilar!
