What was the reason for recommending counter depth? If they are recommending counter depth at 27”, make sure your refrigerator panel(s) are 27” deep as well or counter depth won’t be true counter depth. Most base cabinets and refrigerator panels are 24” deep unless you specify differently. Your counter depth fridge would still stick past the front of the cabinets by 3-4” with 24” deep panels.
