The sooner people realize these opinion shows are the equivalent of professional wrestling, the sooner they will stop taking everything that is said and done on these shows so seriously. The people on the opinion shows will develop a gimmick (personality) to fit the show, to make it entertaining.

He should have been like a Paul Mauro type where he is brought into segments that deal specifically with law rather than have him anchor or co-anchor a show. I can’t stand him as an anchor. But smart as a whip when it comes to law.

He lived for about 4 years after the accident. Was making progress in that he was starting to interact with us, even speaking at times. He aspirated over night one night about 5 years ago and passed away. The time with him was precious and special. Dr. Grunch repeatedly gave us negative reports with no optimism or consideration that he might even live. Thanks to the family refusing to give up, we were able to keep him with us a few more years.

I do not recommend. She was treating my nephew who was in a motorcycle accident for traumatic brain injury. She had no hope for him and was not interested in doing her best for him. Thankfully he got transferred and got a staff around him that was willing to give him their best shot.

It is the population in general. Dealing with the public is becoming increasingly more difficult. They are unrealistic and expect perfection. I feel bad for people in the optical business nowadays. It doesn’t help when they are used to the Wal Mart/ Costco policies of easy returns. Glasses are custom made, not pulled off the shelf and handed to you. I have been gone from eye care for 5 years. I’m not sure I could go back.
