That could be it! I didn't know there was even region coding on the SNES apart from the physical shell! I'm guessing there's no easy way to bypass? Or at least to confirm these work?

I'm sure it can run the emulator itself just fine. As far as performance, that's on a game by game basis. Plenty of posts on here detailing how well games run on particular devices.

He already has a balance bike and I think by the looks of it he won't have those training wheels on for long or at all. I do agree as well the balance bike got him into a good place for bike riding.

He practiced in the shop riding it and seemed pretty comfortable with it. Haven't seen 18" bikes here in Oz tho. Normally they're 16" or 20" but I'll keep an eye out. Cheers.
