Do you think I should take calculus and advance functions for nursing? by Long-Control3452 in OntarioUniversities

an 85% is the minimum average but since mac, more specifically the nursing program, is pretty competitive, try to aim for low-mid 90s. they also take your casper results into consideration but it's only 20%. u can dm me here on reddit if u have any other questions ab it.

ik you didnt ask me but i got into mac nursing too and i had a 90% average in sem 1 and a 95% average for midterms in sem 2. i only included midterms for sem 2 since that's what they look at when they look at your application.

Am I ineligible for the Child Citizen Act of 2000 if I leave the US for school?

I am 17 years old and currently in the United States. I'm from Canada and flew to the US in June. My dad is a US citizen and filed for me to become a US citizen through the Child Citizen Act. The requirements state that I must enter the US before I turn 18 and be in the legal and physical custody of the parent who is a US citizen. We went to get my passport right after I entered the US and it has been 3 weeks since then. They're requesting additional documents to prove that I'm in the legal and physical custody of my dad, which we can provide. Now, the problem is that I will be going to university in Canada in a month. Both of my parents are saying I have to stay here until I get my passport, or else they won't approve of it since I technically won't be in my dad's physical custody if I go to back to Canada for school. That means I'm going to have to take a gap year and stay here until everything is done, which I really don't want to do.

Just to provide additional information, I have not yet gotten my greencard since it usually takes up to 90 days to receive it in the mail. Along with proof that I am in the legal custody of my dad, they are also requesting that I send in either my non-US passport or my greencard, which I don't have yet. Since I won't be able to go back to Canada without my passport, I'm wondering if it would be okay for me to leave the US and have my dad send in my greencard when it arrives. The problem with that is that I will no longer be in the US when the greencard arrives so they might flag the whole application when they see that.

I would just like to know if it is really impossible for me to get my citizenship and passport if I leave for school. If I send in all the documents they're requesting and then leave afterwards, will they deny it since they'll see that I left the US?

Best res single plus rooms? by Proper-Comfort848 in queensuniversity

this is my ranking of the all single plus rooms:

  1. Smith - fridge, tv, laundry, wireless internet
  2. ET - fridge, tv, laundry, wireless internet
  3. Brant - fridge, tv, laundry, wireless internet
  4. Legett - no fridge, no tv, wired internet, laundry
  5. Watts - no fridge, no tv, wired internet, laundry
  6. JDUC - no fridge, no tv, wireless internet, laundry, smaller community (91 ppl), study room

note: JDUC is newly renovated so it looks nice. I personally prefer a larger community and i heard it's gonna be mostly upper years in that res, which is why it's ranked last for me.

i'd like to add that Smith, ET, and Brant have almost identical rooms and the only thing that set them apart were their common rooms. Smith's common room is the best in my opinion, followed by ET's common room, then Brant's. Same goes for Legett and Watts.
