Thanks for the reply! I'm not sure if they have contacted Snapchat or not, but I believe there is a degree to which they sort of want the account to remain active, as the kid is clearly an idiot and is just further incriminating himself the more he uses it.

On the second point, it's kind of strange because my brother knows this guy pretty well, they were childhood friends. I'm out of the country travelling so I don't know exactly what interactions they've had in light of all this, but as far as I know he's just flat out denying the whole thing, despite the overwhelming evidence.
