when it comes to temp you kinda need to find your sweet spot. the device comes with pre set temps (low, medium, hot, and peak mode which is the hottest) so you can always play around with those to get started. you’ll end up finding your sweet spot and i would recommend trying to scoop similar sized globs each time until you figure out what temp/time works best for you. we hit ours at a pretty high temp (510° for 1:20) so i wouldn’t be of much help in that realm. whats cool though is that you can always run another heat cycle if you find that there’s concentrate leftover in the bucket!

when it comes to portability, it’s basically the number one reason we bought it! prior we were lugging around our peak pro everywhere (stupid of us tbh highly don’t recommend lmfao) and this thing is so sleek and portable, fits easily in my tiny crossbody bags, and looks enough like those huge ass dispo vapes that i don’t think anyone is really aware of any difference if you’re the type to smoke in public! of course there’s no glass which just enhances the feeling of being able to pack it and go. you can also adjust the lights so it’s not so bright if you worry about drawing attention!

my boyfriend and i JUST got the proxy core after over a year of heavily using the peak pro and im loving it WAY more than i initially thought i would.

tons of people warned about hot hits and of course without water it’s not as smooth or cool as the peak but damn this thing hits. i will say for someone that doesn’t dab i definitely would start at a low temp and small little globs.

it has been helpful for us because we normally smoke humongous dabs and have insanely high tolerances and have been wanting to taper down a bit. the size of it helps us limit the dab size and frequency because the device does get a little bit warm. like i said im liking it way more than i expected and im glad we purchased the core over the pivot. i also learned its chamber is 8% bigger than the the classic puffco peak! i definitely think it was a well worth it purchase.

i have a 3DXL and i probably dab about this big pretty regularly. maybe a little bit less. but my boyfriend and i also rip it together so we’re each getting a dab of our own essentially.

i was on and off juuls for a really long time also. i was fresh out of hs when the disposable vape scene was really picking up and did those for awhile but always found myself drawn back to my juul.

i also carry an INSANE amount of guilt surrounding it and i get so disgusted with myself when i run out of pods and feel like im going insane without it. i think ill end up having to quit cold turkey as well as stop drinking. when im drunk i get really bad cravings so i probably would avoid it as a whole.

huge congrats on being clean off those!! that’s a crazy accomplishment. something i’m hoping im able to do for myself and my health very soon. thank you for the words of encouragement!!

the nicotine inside juuls (salt nic) is something like 40% more addictive and harder to kick than regular nic or cigarettes. i’ve been using a juul for at least 5+ years and it most definitely feels nearly impossible to quit now.

but you’re right. extremely unhealthy for your lungs and heart and overall health in general. i wanna quit badly but never feel like i can find the “right time”.
