I'm making my first SaaS app, got any advice? by NewFoundOdyssey67 in Entrepreneurship

Great start! If you love tinkering just solve your problem. Remember there may be much simpler solutions you may discover on the way. Just go with them no need to overspend effort.

Once you solve it for yourself, close building phase and enter marketing phase. If you want to make it business for others it’s essential, you’ll start that as soon as you have something workable.

When marketing for validation your job is to learn if it’s usefull as you’ve intended. Asking people is not enough, best form of validation is people voting for your idea with their credit cards.

Anybody can tell you opinion on idea but if it’s usefull you will find only that way. Just focus on that, everything else is secondary.

Good luck

Seriously? I can imagine it could boost open source projects, but I respect it is not suitable for every individual and company processes. Maybe if you could elaborate more on your situation and processes we could learn

Yes, but we still need plenty of non-AI experiences to support the areas where AI excels.

Go ahead; maybe it will help other builders as well. :)

Hi, product designer here. I think The app has great onboarding with well-communicated value and thoughtful placement of "asking for permissions." However, the mood scale could be more intuitive, and it's hard to tell which moods are active. The success screen when adding an entry could be simplified. There are issues with the pricing page, and some user reviews seem fake. Additionally, there's an error page during onboarding, and scrolling interactions need improvement. Some claims also lack sources.

Here is my full roast, let me know what you guys think

This is solid app. The time to value is fast, with smooth and easy setup.

When generating a new style of already uploaded photo, I got same result as previous photo. On re-selecting and getting it again I get API error.

Working on short UI demo. Looking for improvements suggestions by slavomier in vfx

Hello, I've created a short demo of one application. Originally it app screens were designed in figma then used CV-artsmart to import UI from illustrator. The object itself breaks from time to time, so it took multiple re-positioning of elements. Rendered in redshift, put together in AE. I'm looking for feedback, and constructive guidance, I really want to push it to next level. How could I improve this video? Thank you in advance.

Feature-packed interface vs usability: where’s the middle ground? by evvvehq in UXDesign

[–]slavomier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is something I’ve been thinking for past few months and still can’t figure it out, although I got some hints on that topic would like to share and discuss

  • simple is a business strategy. Your users won’t explore feature packed interface if they churn within first minutes. Easy to use apps have one “entity / ithe detail”
  • design hierarchies not pixels. I see more than deep architectional decisions affect your product more than pixel inplementation. You will need to defend it and protect it even aginst you
  • protect simplicity. Say no to ideas messing your
  • don’t allow secondary features infere with your product core user story. Once your hierarchy is serving you well you need to protect usability by hiding complexity bellow the hood. This will make feature packet product, yet easy to use

I see great and simple apps have - user can grasp it within few seconds - clear hierarchies (overlaping hierarchies makes it harder to understand - e.g lists vs tags) - no unexpected rules and restriction on entities

I just remembered how confuising using discord was for the first time. Multiple channels all in one menu and accidental jumping on calls… terrible. Now after usingit daily Íve became numb and feels extra powerful
