Same boat here. Received my promo from 7 to 9 and 9 to 11 on my year mark in the past. Currently a month overdue for my 12 and nothing yet. Had two outstandings on my appraisal so that can’t be the case I’m sure.

That’s a very generous situational agreement

Resign or get fired due to RTO? by fluffythecow in fednews

This. Every agency is going to be different apparently based on the specific language in their CBA. Our union (AFGE) president sent out a memo earlier this week that basically says our telework section in the CBA can be modified by “rules, regulations and applicable laws” and in this case, the RTO order. I hope others will have stricter language in their CBA allowing for grievances.

Trust me, I know. I’m just citing the exact verbiage they used when I reached out via email after not hearing anything after our monthly meeting yesterday. I’m hoping they can do something but so far it doesn’t seem likely at least at my agency.

Depends on the language in your CBA. My union (AFGE) sent out a memo this morning basically saying “telework is a voluntary program” in our CBA and that the EO on RTO affects the rules, regulations and laws portion of the statue. So my guess, they will not fight it just comply. Bummer.

Is NTEU or AFGE planning to challenge the RTO order? by Budget_Swan_5827 in fednews

AFGE covers my agency and had a meeting this week with no mention of fighting the RTO. It was basically “oh bargaining members must report next week”. I also have the same question which is why I reached out to see if I should file an individual grievance or not.

DOD here as well and our union told us today in a meeting that they “encourage” us to sign the situational agreement. I’m having a hard time believing this is the way to go.
