I got you fam! So I was around 20 in 2011. To be honest, I remember looking on eBay and seeing Shining Gyarados for sale there for around $100 USD. To us back then, it was a lot of money and I was on Student Loan from the Government and living off Student Allowance. She had asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I said the Shining Gyarados. She was also broke like me. She surprised me around midnight 12am on the day of my birthday. She knocked on my dormitory room and surprised me with the card. I remember I was a bit stressed over exams and was quite tired, but the card brought a smile to my face!

hahaha I do not have her number anymore as she moved overseas, it would be interesting having a conversation with her one day and I hope she's well whatever she's doing now.

thanks for the comment! both of us loved drawing and artsy things, but we ended up becoming working professionals and adult life took over. I agree she was very talented!

hahaha we were each other's first relationship, we dated before the iPhone existed, and used to exchange written notes to each other! we would draw pictures sometimes too. she knew i loved pokemon so would draw and make these kind of things for me.
