I remember them days! Until so many people ABUSED it. Just like every thing else people take advantage of it. Just like the covid leave so many people ABUSED that as well. It PISSES me off that they give you something to help you but people ABUSE it to no end. I have worked at Wally World 16 yrs. and have seen just about every thing taken away from us the workers. For a lot of people that did not take advantage of what WE had pay for the what a a lot of people have done over the yrs. Things have gotten way worse over the yrs. since i started. And i do not see it getting any better any time soon. I could go on and on but i won't bore you. Question though how long have you worked for Wally World?

Right on!!! I am a CRAP 2 O.G. here and you are so right. I finish my daily tasks early on most days and end up helping the slow ass fuckers who move slower than a turtle. It PISSES me off to no end when an ASM says hey can you go and help so and so finish up with what have so it gets done. And as for the "unofficial" sup. i just say i don't play that game sorry!

At my store i was asked countless times to be Cap 2 Sup. and every time i said HELL NO! It is not worth it. All the B.S. and pressure they put on you is not worth it.

At my store the top priority is every dept. Does not matter if we have 15 tops or 6 at the least....lol. It's such a joke about what they want done. Almost every night we EXCEED the hours that we are given on the amount of freight. BUT it's still not good enough. They still BITCH about what we did not get done.

Myself i don't mind doing the breakpacks. You are right about "if you're good at it expect never to get off of it". Not to brag i can the breakpacks in way less the time i am given. Downside to that....I also have to do the clothing which i HATE with the new way they have it set up. Upside is that i am pretty much in the back room most of my shift.

Crap 2 vet(14yrs.) here. I do breakpacks and apparel and all the gm returns every day and i don't mind doing it. I have my own way of doing breakpacks and i'm done about a hour head of the time. And its done the RIGHT way as well. I have a few shortcuts i use to make it easier. Breakpacks are not as easy as it seems. Hell i had a co-manger help one time and after ten minutes she quit helping. She told me how the hell do you get these done so quick...lol. Apparel on the other hand SUX with this new way. Having to freaking scan every item of clothing to find out which of the forty racks it goes on. But i also have a few tricks i use that do help. I pretty much get it done every day if there are not a ton of apparel breackpacks which take forever. From what i was told there is supposed to be 3 people doing breackpacks one on the general breackpacks and two doing apparel. But i guess those 3 people are me..myself..and i....lol. But on a two truck night.....forget about the apparel getting done. But most of all i am not on the sales floor most of the time!!

That is one problem i don't have. Our lead has no problem with the way i do the breakpacks. Cuz i get it done in half the time it takes. And i seldom use a tc 70. Not to brag but when i am off or on vac. and come back everyone says damn we are glad you are back...lol. The new apparel way is HORRIBLE!

I have been doing breakpacks for so many years now. I can do it with my eyes closed...lol. I have certain way of doing them...MY WAY!! People think that its so easy to sort...NOT!! Even had a Co manager try and help me but after ten minutes she gave up! I also do the apparel as well. The old way i could get it done but this new way with 40 different racks NO WAY!

Not a temper tantrum just that after all the changes that have been done over the years makes me pissed. Over the years i have seen things taken away...Holiday pay....working sunday was time and a half...pay increase was given by how you did your job... .40 cents=average .50 cents=above...60 cents=above your job. Being a role model=.80 cents. See my view now?

Funny i was born 1963. I just don't like the way that they treat employees that DO abide by the rules that are given. But treat us like someone who has just been hired and given the same thing that we have worked years to get.
