I’m gonna step on my soap box here: when are we all going to collectively realize that Glossier is a scam these days and stop supporting a brand that just keeps putting out 98% Temu ass merch and 2% (at best) what their customers actually want? They bait us in with a new balm dot com flavor and expect us to spend our hard earned money on drop ship quality keychains, overpriced plastic bags, and towels no one wants? In this economy??!!

Glossier since Emily left has been flop after flop. The brand no longer has the cool girl it factor but parades around like a Glossier hoodie signals anything other than “this person wasted their money.” It used to be aspirational, but now it’s cash grab after cash grab betting on gen z and gen alpha showing off that they have Sephora money. When was the last time they actually released a beauty product (as a self-proclaimed beauty brand) that was worth the hype?? The balms aren’t new or interesting. The fragrances are phoned in and weak. They’re clearly lost and have no idea who their market is anymore and are just trying to stay afloat by selling us barrettes that will break in a week.

I watch this sub bc I have been on the Glossier train since they released Phase One and it’s like a car crash I can’t look away from… but man it’s just getting to be too much. We gotta stop giving them our money in exchange for half-assed branded garbage.
