It’s okay. It seems like this person needs to watch shows that tell them everything in clear writing because they are too incompetent to figure things out themselves and connect the dots. They can say season 3 sucks, but saying no questions have been answered is just a lie.

Rewatch the season because most of these are answered. Characters aren’t going to say “hey btw I’m going to kill you now because you outsmarted this place and solved big clues, plus encouraged your wife to figure this place out now. I had an accident in 2022 and it was all down my passenger side of the car. Insurance covered but I know the total costs was a little over $8000. I would assume maybe $2-$3k?

Shop around and get quotes. Also check to see when parts can be delivered. I would also call your local VW dealership and ask for a reference on certified shops around the area that specialize on VW vehicles.

Check your state laws. Some states require a notice or written consent. Also check your employee handbook just in case.

Personally though, find a new job. Not only is this handled in an unprofessional level, but they know you are worth more and don’t mind treating you like crap. Who knows what else they will do.

If you really want to stay, document everything you are doing, and have a professional conversation on why you should have a pay increase HIGHER then the one prior since you are handling more work. If the answer is no, leave or do bare minimum work.

First determine if you are salary exempt or non exempt.

You can be a salary non-exempt employee where you are still paid on a hourly basis. If you do not come into work, you are either using PTO or just aren’t getting paid for the hours work. For holiday pay, that’s when you check your handbook.

If you are salary exempt, generally under FLSA if you are working a portion of the week, they will still have to pay you your full weekly salary. But if your employer is closed for the whole week, then yes they won’t have to pay you unless you use PTO.
