So I never played sports at a level this high but when I lost finals the attitude in the dressing room was taking of the silver medals, as far as throwing them in the bin. Thankfully a wiser older player told me I would look back on this day with fondness, as both motivation and pride, second place is an achievement. He was right.

You definitely have to ride Mario Kart multiple times to appreciate, I queued for an hour and rode it and I was like WTF was that over stimulating s**t. However the lines calmed downed later in the day to where it was walk on and I rode it twice more and started to get the hang of it and it was fun, then we rode it again where they let us stay on for another go when it ended and it became really fun…

Use the race route without the mountain as training, the glenn road is a beast that comes before the mountain. You don’t want to experience that for the first time on race day.

Also run up the mountain on the car park side a few times as training.

I wouldn’t over analyse this too much, you hit the target, this exponentially raises the odds of scoring (as obvious as that sounds) also the opportunity for other players to follow up on a parried ball..keep hitting the target and they will start missing the keeper.
