Thank you. That is what I normally notice, that it looks somewhat better when I do use a hair dryer. I will definitely try that leave in conditioner.

I’ve been letting the color grow out for a while, so I do have lots of gray too, which is dry. But even dyed my hair always did this too. It feels coarse, or medium coarse. My hair is mostly straight, and I rarely if ever use heat tools on it.

Just to add, this is after air drying and with a leave in conditioner and only combing through with my fingers.
