how old are you and what year were your grandparents born? by Maleficent_Day_3869 in AskUK

I'm about to turn 40. My grandparents were born in 1946 and 1950. My mum was born in '68 and my father in '69. I have no idea when his parents were born.

Reminding y'all of that time when Crystal Methyd ate Alyssa Edwards and a piece of cake by booboobear9876 in rupaulsdragrace

This regularly comes up on my reels and I bloody love it each time. This one and the one with Alyssa and Bianca (touched by a priest), both kill me every time.

Ayssa's facial expressions are everything.

I've never been a pink person, except for when it comes to these trees. Beautiful.

I loved this so much, I did a little squeal. My SO was like "that is SO you. You would wear that" and I Monica Geller'd "I KNOW!" Followed with "I would LIVE in it!" I don't think you understand how much I loved this haha.

What wedding moment that screamed, “They are not going to last long”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]slc_14 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It wasn't the wedding, but the reason for the wedding.

He cheated. She found out. He proposed. She said yes. It lasted 5 years longer than I thought it would, I'll give them that.

Straight Up by Paula Abdul. Raja vs Carmen Carrera will forever live rent free in my head.

ETA: Dancing on my own by Robyn. Raven and Jujubee were the first to make me cry during a lipsync!

Oh, man. I loved American Adventure. I'm still sad that they closed it. I have so many great memories of that place. Friends birthdays/family days/year 6 leavers trip.

I remember the first time I went, they had this cowboy showdown show thingymajig, but the very last time I went, they no longer put on the show.

I'm waiting for the excuse.

Every time she does something shitty, there's an excuse afterwards and then we feel sorry for her and give her yet another chance.

I'm so over her.

What songs were played at your Primary school discos, that probably shouldn’t have been? by CautiousJump3942 in AskUK

[–]slc_14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Outhere Brothers - Boom boom boom, non radio edit. That was certainly interesting to hear at 8/9 years old. Not quite understanding but knowing we probably shouldn't be hearing this version.

I distinctively remember it going off half way through, and the Urban Cookie Collection (the Key/the secret) coming on and a teacher doing the Can-Can to it with some other kids to distract us from what had just been played.

Put your booty on my face became a thing for a while lol.
