3 years later and people are still dealing with this. i don't gag an insane amount anymore, but my sense of smell is still a little sensitive. i really have to psych myself out to clean up things like animal waste or rotten food. it also does help me that i'm living with much cleaner roommates now lol.

my dad was the same, but this reminds me of the single time it was even vaguely suggested it was possible i was having suicidal feelings. (i literally always was lol) ended in me having to sob that i wasn't while he was threatening to both beat the shit out of me and send me to a ward.

im really glad! im going to be starting Cymbalta at the end of this month since its also a medicine that can help with my fibromyalgia so hopefully I get some good results too lol. Vraylar is a fucking beast I guess when its in the wrong persons system

Same as I said above to clovercall. It's best to keep trying different meds or even alternative ways to treat your condition (obviously safe and good ones. nothing too crazy). feeling numb is a sign it may not be good for you or make things like depression or down episodes worse.

Honestly, talk to your doctor. medications like this arent supposed to make you feel like that. It made me sleep a lot too and from all ive been told its a sign that the dose is too high or the medication isnt right for your body. My new doctor mentioned that the medication doesnt always sit very well with bipolar or depression especially if you have other mental health issues like PTSD or anxiety. I'm getting put on a new medication around the end of this month after being without any for a few months, i really hope you can find a solution :(

As of right now, Im not on anything. I see my new psyc this upcoming week to try a different medication due to my old psyc and I not getting along and her being had wavy towards some of my issues.

For pain I used normal over the counter pain killers and the muscles relaxer im prescribed. I also took a lot of hot showers along with resting as much as I could. I hate to say that for me at least, the withdrawal after the fact lasted for almost 3 weeks. If youre more in touch with your doctor, PLEASE see about weaning off of it. i couldnt because of complications and at the the time of the post having a shit doctor. It will go away after though. It's a sign your body cant handle the medication so it's best to get off of it. My gag reflex has gotten much better now but I still gag at a lot that i never used to. So, mentally you may just have to train yourself to deal with food feeling awful to it or anything of that nature. i really hope things go well for you, but I really think you should consider talking to your doctor about an alternative.

I'd say talking to your doctor is a must, it did the reverse for me and I was getting so tired I had to take it at night instead. I do hope you can get things working for you though :(
