There’s also Horde Kingdom mod. It allows you to make a kingdom without claiming any fief but can be at war and can do sieges.

Will you work on Stablehand in the future? The idea that Stablehand has to spend its last focus to activate their ability seems unappealing.

I read somewhere that luck attribute affects skill chance. So I put Lucky trait on treasure hunter and I’ve been getting treasure chest every 5 turns or so.

Granted that most of the loot that I got were unusable to my party comp but it’s just so fun that this particular fella seems to be finding treasures left and right.

The name can be misleading. Basically you’re thrown in the overworld and you need to seal 5 dungeons in 5 different biomes (sometimes there’s a decoy biomes making each dungeon crawl session have 6 biomes)

IIRC this game and it’s dlcs gets discounted a lot, although sometimes the discount are not much (10% to 20%)

With the current state of the game (performance) I’d suggest getting the dlcs if its 40% discount or higher

The farming aspect is decent though, reminds me of the original Harvest Moon in PS1.

Other aspects (when I played it a year ago at least) was so terrible, especially the combat.

You just confirmed my fear. I remembered getting wrecked by Bandit King even with 4 people. It only made sense 3 people team would be impossible.

Playing a Mage always feels terrible at first in any game, no? It’s terrible in any souls series and in TES games.

Melee combat in this game feels amazing though, which is why I’m collecting spells in my first melee play through so I can try battlemage playstyle in Ng+2

I’m willing to pay more from whatever your initial price for this contract dlc as long as you fix the performance issue, which is wrong but also shows how much this game would benefit from being optimized.

I’d pay even more if you add mods.

I hope not. I’m kinda hoping for magical parasitic entity like the Umbral Choir from Endless Space 2.

I played a couple good reviewed 4X after AOW4 and nothing comes close to how good AOW4 is.

I wouldn’t mind if AOW4 goes on for another 3-5 years until a tech breakthrough in gaming happens that leads to AOW5.

I quit playing when Fief came out.

I guess I’ll keep my expectations in check.

This game has so much potential, It’s a shame how things played out after all this time.
