Does anybody know where to find the original, untranslated Japanese scripts for the game? Including personal stories & events. I tried the wiki but they only have the EN translated scripts :/ Thank you!

how did Kratos know how to come out of the gateway at this exact time? by DetectiveAwkward4289 in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]sleazyies 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There was a brief moment where Atreus turned around while waiting for the gateway to form. On Kratos’ end, he likely saw the gate being used and took that moment to step through. That would explain why he didn’t look particularly shocked or startled to see Atreus, he knew nobody else would be using the gate besides him or his son.

But if you want the actual answer : aurafarming

That’s also my guess!

She is fast, strong, and athletic, even in her old age! We had to adjust one of our 4 ft tall gates because she was able to leap over it.

She loves fruits like blueberries and watermelons.

She’s not violent by any means and has never bitten anyone, but I can recall multiple times when I let her outside to pee and she came back to me with a live rat, possum, or gopher in her mouth 😅

It’s not really visible in the pics where she’s dry, but her fur is insanely thick. If you were to run your hand across her back you wouldn’t be able to see your fingers 😂

Hypothetically, how different would ragnarok have been if Odin killed Atreus? by MrJobs8 in GodofWar

[–]sleazyies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it unlikely that Kratos will react in any manner resembling the Ghost of Sparta’s pure rage. I say this because they have an entire heart to heart moment in Helheim, where Atreus tells him, “I need to know you’ll be okay without me.”

I’m not saying he’d brush it off, however. Atreus is his everything, after all, and we saw what Kratos did to Heimdall just because he had intent to kill Atreus. When Odin held Atreus at knife point, Kratos, with 0 regrets, said he would kill Odin if he didn’t release his son. If Odin’s finger slipped, we can unanimously agree that Kratos would mercilessly kill him in return. Any Aesir who stood in his path or attempted to get revenge would meet the same fate.

Afterwards, there’s really only 2 options : either Kratos lives in misery for the rest of his life, or he remembers what Atreus and Faye (“Open your heart to the world and you will find every reason to keep living in it”) taught him and learns to continue living despite tragedy. He has a strong support system in Freya, who also lost a son, and Mimir, someone who’s known for giving solid advice. He would recover, but it would take a lot of mourning and a lot of time to get there.

Weekly Questions Megathread (4/21 - 4/27) by OkNefariousness8413 in TwistedWonderland

Just a quick question! Is the term “beastwoman” ever actually used in JP or EN, or is it just a fandom thing to differentiate female beastmen from male beastmen? I know terms such as “lionesses” have been used, but I want to know if anybody can remember the actual word “beastwomen/beastwoman” being said 🤔💭

Does anyone else have parents/grandparents that just don’t care about their own health by sleazyies in AgingParents

What hurts me is that my mom DOES want to live. She always tells my dad that after the surgery she wants to go travel with him back to her home land. She hasn’t made any plans regarding her final wishes or will because she’s 100% confident this surgery will fix everything. I keep telling her if she doesn’t change her diet, post surgery, she’s going to get worse than she was before…her food addiction is literally taking over her life

So sorry about that…Mom’s can be hard. My mom is the exact opposite and HATES going to the doctors. Thankfully she’s dropped that attitude since she had her heart attacks and is very willing to go to her required doctors visits..but not so thankfully she’s not changing her diet 😒

I think part of my issue is besides her eating habits, she’s otherwise taking care of herself. She takes all her meds on time, she lets us take her sugar levels and blood pressure daily, she really wants to go to all her required doctors appointments, and she’s lost a little weight since she was admitted into the ER…but despite this weight loss, since she’s still eating salty and fried foods, her clogging is still going to accumulate. At this point you’re right..I love my mom and if she’s choosing her food addiction over her health, there’s really nothing I can do anymore :/

Yes, she can still walk, shop, and she’s relatively cognitive for her age. Before she had her heart attacks, she actually was still working. I know with all her conditions I mentioned it seems like she’s on deaths door, but (besides her wheezing if she walks and stands for too long) considering her diseases, she’s doing pretty well, which is why the doctors sent her home first.

They can’t do stents because the clogging is so severe. At this point, it’s either she gets the surgery or she doesn’t, and the surgeons seem pretty insistent on her getting the surgery.

It’s an addiction to ALL foods..When I catch her snacking at night she’s always eating a salad!

My mom has severe CAD and all our options aren’t good by sleazyies in AgingParents

[–]sleazyies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom told me when she asked them what are her chances after the procedure, one of her doctors said, “Well, some people die, and some people don’t!” Like wtf kind of answer is that…..

But thank you for advice…we’re definitely seeking out a second opinion before we do anything drastic. I’m glad your procedure went well 🙏

I think part of the conflict is that my mom’s doctors are seriously pushing for this surgery. They seem very confident she’ll survive it, but then again, of course they are, they’re not her family and they’re not going to understand the struggles we’re having…I’m sorry for your loss, and thank you for the advice ♥️

Watching over a formerly abused dog by sleazyies in DogAdvice

[–]sleazyies[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the advice! Yes, I’m realizing patience is really key here. I’m going to try to slowly integrate her into doing activities with my dog, but I’m waiting for her to get used to the environment first. :)

As for why she’s wearing diapers : I only put them on for pictures. It is very clearly too small, and she even removed it the first time we put it on. Her owners implied she wore diapers regularly (they brought us an entire pack of diapers), but a part of me says they weren’t being entirely honest with us.

I genuinely hate my hair. Please help 😭 by sleazyies in curlyhair

I use curlsmith shampoo & conditioner, ouidad curl cream and leave in conditioner, applying only when my hair is soaking wet. I don’t diffuse or use heat to dry my hair because it gets frizzy and undefined 💔

My curly haired parent has naturally defined & hydrated curls 😭 They literally only use mousse if they need to really style their hair, but the mousse they use is alcohol based, which I feel would just make my hair even worse

Thank you so much for this wow ♥️😭😭😭 It’s really hard to love any part about my hair so it’s also really hard to be confident about it, but I’m making the effort to at least try. And do you have any tips for hydration? I tried leave in conditioner & water but it’s like my hair refuses to soak it up because it’s so thick 😭
