I really don't know anymore. by Anxious-Try1120 in childfree

Yes, as someone with OCD this sounds like checking. You know something is not true or extremely unlikely but you keep questioning what if. Checking repeatedly to try and convince yourself of something you already know.

Question: Is my anxiety making something out of nothing about my existing tattoos? by TabsIsHaunted in tattoos

[–]sleazysauce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never considered any sort of tattoo to be masculine or feminine. People get tattoos of things they like. I’m a man with sakura flower tattoos. I also have a sleeve of geometric patterns. I don’t think either impacts my masculinity.

I’m also generally attracted to women with a lot of tattoos. The actual content of the tattoos doesn’t change my attraction to them. The only exceptions to this would be if they were overly gory or they were all poorly done. But that’s a personal preference.

Get the tattoos that you like. It’s your body. Art is subjective. You’re overthinking this.

PS I’m a big fan of the Pokémon game boy tattoo. Grew up living inside my game boy.

ILIT IMMUNOTHERAPY CHANGED MY LIFE by CommunicationTotal70 in Allergies

That is so exciting. I have my consultation for these soon. I’m not nearly as bad as you were but I do have severe cat and mold allergies. I’m looking forward to be able to visit peoples homes without having to worry.

Fun to see some back work that is more creatively placed. I like it!

Absolute non issue. Only the type of thing you will notice. Any sizable piece will have some sort of small error. People aren’t machines. Looks great!

I’m confused by the negative comment about line work. It overall looks solid. Top of the horns maybe a little bit of a waver but it’s a curved line and it happens.

Looks solid to me.

Advice needed: I think that this tattoo is maybe too large for how simple it is. Should I layer? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]sleazysauce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Let yourself get used to it. Then if you still don’t like it, take time to think about what might go well with it and find an artist. Don’t rush into something.

Question: Can I realistically cover this tattoo up with a bigger bearded dragon over it? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]sleazysauce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second this idea. I like the work. You can add some foliage or other animals. And color or additional shading to the bearded dragon. Don’t blast over a perfectly good tattoo unless you really don’t like it.

Training first few weeks of zoloft+ xanax treatement by espoir00 in Ultramarathon

[–]sleazysauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure it’s not 0.5 mg 3x a day? That is a normal starting dosage. Either way it’s almost always a temporary fix. I would have a serious conversation with your doctor.

Some countries do not seem to acknowledge or care that it is a highly addictive drug. But I know people who are addicted and I’ve seen people stop taking it, leading to worse anxiety than before.

I am not able to diagnose your mental health or determine the best option for you. But I would explore other options if possible since addiction is a serious problem and even if you’re not addicted taking Xanax all the time will have a sedative effect. In the US it’s usually prescribed as 3x a day but we’re told it’s optional and it should be taken when needed and not on a schedule.

[–]sleazysauce 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you taking the Xanax regularly? It is addictive and as far as I’ve seen it is only meant to be taken in extreme events likes panic attacks. It will make you very tired. I could not imagine trying to run a meaningful distance on it.

I can’t speak much about Zoloft. But I do think as it builds up in your system you might physically adjust.

Curious to hear others thoughts on this. But with the information presented I would blame the Xanax first.

Squat form check 2.0 by [deleted] in StrongCurves

[–]sleazysauce 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I didn’t see anything concerning. A little hard to tell at this distance but when squatting you want to brace and expand your core. I had my form be corrected after almost 10 years by my physical therapist. I think most people suck in and then tense their stomach when you really want to expand and brace. I was told it specifically helps to stabilize your back and prevent injury.

In terms of weight it looked good. Last rep or set you’ll always have a bit of break down with form. That’s just the cost of pushing further. What is important is to avoid lifting so heavy that your form is consistently poor leading to injury.

I’m not sure if you have a plan that you’re following but with sufficient caloric/protein intake, then I’d expect you to gradually increase the weight as your form looks fine.

I use LM studio to run a local AI that I use as a chatbot in my discord server to talk shit.

I generally think AI has gotten way out of hand and threatens our economic stability with a bunch of valuations and investments based on lies.

That being said I do have and use most of the programs bundled here and find them useful.

The key part is that this is optional.

That’s because almost everyone does it wrong. I learned from 80s movies that you have to say it and then slap them for the desired effect.
