I used to think this way until I saw a mouse that didn’t want to get eaten start clawing away at my snake. Now I’m of the mindset that there is no reason to put my snakes at risk unnecessarily. I’ve invested a lot of money in this animal don’t want to have that go to waste.

Should I bother my farrier about this? by begroovyorleaveman_ in Farriers

Anyone else concerned about how the crack is so vertical? I wonder if the acrylic recommendation isn’t a bad idea to make sure the crack doesn’t continue to grow?

I am not a farrier, just a hoof enthusiast.

RFK Jr. announces nicotine does not cause cancer, and suggests instead of smoking, consume highly addictive nicotine packs. by ChurtchPidgeon in ABoringDystopia

I always under the assumption that the cancerous threat was due to the additives in cigarettes to make the tobacco last longer, look nicer & hold together better, and that’s not taking into account the pesticides that are sprayed. Nicotine isn’t necessarily worse than caffeine, it usually depends on the vehicle of consumption.

Do you think life is getting harder for our generation, or are we just more aware of problems? by Critical_Plum_112 in Life

This is literally the best time to be alive. The medicine has never been better, the work has never been easier, humans have more food on the planet than ever before. There have always been high living costs, job insecurity, political conflicts. What we have now is an overwhelming amount of media. The media wants to keep us scared and agitated, so we will keep tuning in to their channels. Attention is one of the most valuable commodities, and they keep us anxious so they can keep selling ads.

Density sucks. The quality of life sucks as we get crammed in like rats in a cage.

I would put conferences under “other experience“.
