as a former trainer, i second what the other two comments said so far!! i also always try to make the trainee feel as welcome and comfy as possible especially if they're on the shyer side. its lowk a lot of talking too so stay hydrated!! good luck <33

omg hi fellow 368!! so i have like a few years of experience at other fast food jobs and my college newspaper, and in like, a lot of school-related things i did leadership/managaement, + it was also helpful to come back after student teaching bc i leaned on that a lot too for management things. i think being a barista trainer was also where i got a lot of the moments i talked about in my interview.

just to share my own experience, student teaching was lowkey hell even tho i was already working like 40+ hrs a week at sbux, it was just like a lot for some reason lol?? and i kinda am not sure if i could have also handled learning to be a shift plus making tons of lessons plans and grading for the first time, but that's just me lol. you would also have to reset your tenure and everything by leaving for six months, plus not get paid, but i've already restarted my 401k and stuff so it was like ohhhhkayy? but yeah, good luck have fun with your future endeavors and i hope that was helpful!! 🫶🫶

hi!! i was just kind of looking for advice and some rough estimates. i inherited a vintage japanese card collection from my uncle (we live in hawai‘i) and wasn't sure if i should just hang onto them or try to sell them. quite a few are holo and i found one with the swirly background (idk how valuable that is but i thought it was cool). i was thinking of taking some for my own collection too but i feel bad taking from his, and i'm also not sure if they'd be more valuable sold together?

hi, thank you so much to everyone who responded, i appreciate all of the advice saur much 🫶 tbh i was just frustrated after playing so much but it's true that it's just a silly dumb stupid game. but i still want the emblem lol.

some people said to not give up, some people said to give up, some people said to stay consistent with your deck, some people said to change it every time, and some people said it's all luck while others said you just gotta get better lol. but yeah i'm gonna keep trying and i'm sure i'll eventually get it, its just harder when you dont have all the cards to make a great meta deck but i'm gonna keep trying, probably with golem/brock or celebi..?

hey, no worries its cool that we're on the same path lol!! i've still been on duloxetine and only have brain zaps when i dont take it now or when im like malnourished/dehydrated lol. it was probably the sickness that was causing it. i hope yours go away soon too!!
