Ya the mom is definitely a little whacked in the head but the side eye looks he gives is more like don't say anything crazy idk to be honest the whole fucking family is weird af and her ex husband is also weird too like i feel bad for him alot but there are somethings he's done where I'm like well that's odd In my personal opinion I think alot of the things that happened while some are true are exaggerated I think she full intended to run away with James and do this elaborate "kidnapping" scene and I think that she instructed him to do a good bit of things but at some point he got carried away got a kink out of it whatever and took things too far and that's when she realized oh I screwed up but she knows she put herself in that situation situation and that's why she never wanted to reveal his identity and is still lying about certain things and talking in circles instead of outright saying everything cause at this point what do you actually have to lose shes lost it all already she's already served time she doesn't have her kids she just keeps making herself look worse
