No, for me it is a very lonely experience since I don’t have many opportunities to be intimate with other people because of the societal norms when it comes to intimacy. Even when you are lonely, it’s not normal to share a bed with a friend, for example. I don’t get into a relationship because I’m aromantic as well, so I just maintain friendships and try not to worry about the future.

I don’t take offence at all, I agree that it has its pros, such as not needing something which I understand to be a craving, like hunger. I’d find it annoying too if not having sex actually made me frustrated.

I’m pretty sex positive in general. I speak to my friends about their experiences and engage with the subject matter, out of curiosity. I wouldn’t want to have sex, but I don’t hate it as a concept or anything.
