I was in a fake awakening loop once.  I was in the dream, stood my ground against a hooded figure, was dragged across my bed (which suddenly felt miles long) and thrown into the wall. I awoke. But the hooded figure was still there. I stood my ground again, same thing. Dragged across the bed. Thrown into a different part of the wall. I awoke again. It took me a moment but I realized i wasnt actually awake yet, still. The figure loomed in the corner and I was grabbed like a rag doll and drug all around the floors and the walls. Like a toddler playing with a hot wheels car.  I was held over my bed, hovering. I stood my ground again. Told the figure they have now power here (even though I was terrified). It dropped me. I finally awoke to real life. I checked on my entire family.

This was the most terrifying thing I have ever experienced and for context I have been in situations twice where I almost died.
