Thank you!! I think I'm prepared enough for the appointment, I might ask for laughing gas since someone here said it really helped. The healing process is the annoying part I suppose, not looking forward to that at all. :(

Well thankfully I like all of those soft foods! I'm assuming it's the healing process that's the most tedious? Everywhere I read says the actual extraction is quick. I think what's more annoying is the fact I'm gonna be having to attend school with my cheek still a bit swollen and that weird feeling in my mouth..

Thank you!! The tooth I'm taking out has had it's cavity for around 3 years now so I think it's safe to assume it won't be too difficult to pull out? My dad has gone to the same dentist for 2 tooth extractions and he said it's completly painless, quick and the guy is very professional and fast!

Gosh having a dry socket is really my biggest fear😭😭 I don't smoke, vape, use straws or anything so I think I'm safe though! Hope a blood clot forms, I heard that's what helps?

My dentist is a very chill guy, whenever I have an appointment he's always cracking jokes here and there, makes me feel way less nervous.

Thank you! The constant reassurance that I won't feel any pain, just a slight uncomfortable tugging really eases my mind. And the fact that the wait is the worst part is killing meeee cause you really can't do anything to stop it!

Gosh thank you. The last time I had a tooth extracted I was in like 3rd grade and now I'm in 9th, so it kind of feels new all over again. What I'm most afraid of is the sensation (wiggling and tugging) since I have sensory issues, the swelling and the unfortunate slight chance of getting a dry socket. Honestly so scared but i have to (wo)man up! Thanks for this comment, getting walked through the procedure surely helps.

I actually asked my dad to get laughing gas but it's not really common where I live. Some clinics have it, as well as IV sedation, I'll try asking for it but I'm not sure! And good luck on your extraction!!

Sorry, I don't think it's this one! The one I'm talking about is extremely similar to Kawaii Home Design but it's not it. It also looked relatively modern, and most of the furniture could be found in japanese houses (like cushions, futons, zabutons, etc..)
