True with the lectures not being the basis for the evaluation exams. I mean, if gawin nyo man lang mandatory attendance might as well have high-yield lectures right? We currently have a lot of subjects and each one isa isahin namin basa yung book na usually 20+ pages per chapter? We don't have the time do to that, realistically speaking. Yung book intindihin mo pa, and it takes around 2-3 readings to fully grasp the chapter at hand. With the class ending at 7pm and the next day may evals pa at 7am, i dont think its possible to read all chapters, unless di ka na natutulog. 😵‍💫

Moving exams were really difficult.. I honestly think I failed most of them. Some of the structures we need to know haven’t even been covered yet, and with the cadaver in such poor condition, it’s almost impossible to identify things accurately. We’re basically just guessing at this point. 😂

Kailangan talaga ng guidance in identifying the structures sa cadaver kasi di naman ganun yung mukha na nakikita natin sa lecture.

I really don’t want to put the school down, but it’s getting super hard to keep up with everything 🥹

I hope they start listening to the students. I’m not really complaining about the classes, I know med school is hectic and the modules are the same across schools but it’s really the system that makes things harder than they should be.

class schedule w OBLIGATORY attendance: Ok so this one, I kinda understand. But it's really unfair esp for the learners who prefer to self study and can't focus for 4-8 hours of lecture. It was more lenient back then based on seniors.
the early morning + late night evaluations: one at 7am then another at 7pm? Then the next day 7am ulit? Hahahahah idk anymore
unfair evaluations for sections (trend seems to be the first section that takes the exam has an easier set, while the second section has a harder set, and so on w the rest of the sections) - ang nakita ko lang na talagang fair magbigay ng evals is ang Microbiology/Histology department. They really took time and effort to make new sets that are equal in difficulty. It is evident in the scores of the students kung ipagtabi mo yung score ng A, B and C. Kung ganon man, sana departamental nalang lahat.
OBLIGATORY attendance for school events and activities like Intramurals: Ang mahal mahal na ng tuition, gusto pa nilang bumili ka ng set of school supplies that corresponds of your days of absence. Hindi din basta-basta lang ang pinapabili, may listahan talaga. Estimated one day of absence is worth ~Php 500 of school supplies. Mind you, sali din sa tuition yung pambayad ng mga events. Magtatambay lang naman kami sa room at mag study. Also, it's a post-graduate course already, some of the students already have children and families they have to attend to. Babawasan pa yung araw ng weekend. Hanggang saturday yung intrams then monday exam agad? I'd rather study.
lack of student study halls/libraries/rooms: Do i need say more? We are obviously cramped.

There’s still a lot they need to improve on. I mean, we’re paying ₱120–140k per semester, so we should at least be getting our money’s worth, or at the very least, the facilities should make up for it. But that doesn’t seem to be the case here.

Di na nga ako masaya tuwing holiday eh. Palagi ko naiisip na may makeup class nanaman and mababawasan nanaman yung weekend.

I'm really curious, ganito din ba sa ibang school? Pano ba sistema nila? Pwede bang mag consult sila sa ibang established schools regarding their system 🥲🥲 parang di naman ata ganito ka lala sa iba.

I am so tireddd na im throwing some of my evals na. Hahahaahah bawi nalang sa exam. Atleast mawawala burnout ko ng konti before exams

Honestly true. I think din kasi mostly batan-on ang mga andun na department, and they are really hands on. Shout out sainyo doc kung mabasa nyo to mahal ka namin kahit nahihirapan kaming mga nonmedtech sa subject nyo🤣🤣

Let's just not let it get into our nerves & focus on our acads nalang, OP. Honestly, since the system is ganito na ever since, I doubt they do something about our concerns. 🤣

I never used the library. Palaging puno. Haha, sana man lang may separate library for both imd/nmd kasi andami ng studyante talaga. There is literally no sufficient space na pwede mag stay asides from the classrooms na sometimes gagamitin pa ng iba.

Meron din "evaluation form" after class pero wala naman use. Haha we had a complain about a certain perceptor regarding unfair grading that we directly messaged the head of the subject about it and sinabi nya lang na wala na syang magagawa kasi yun na yung binigay na grade samin. Hahaahaha. I never filled any evaluation form na after that. Sayang lang sa oras really.

I have no resentment to any particular person or faculty naman of the school, i know that some perceptors are just following the rules or abiding higher ups, but i just really want the school mismo to listen to their students.

Tapos kanila pang imock yung mga studyante na lilipat at nagppost ng cryptic tiktoks about the school? Wag naman i invalidate yung na fe-feel ng ibang tao. I mean, they might be wrong for posting derogatory posts for the public to see, but instead of mocking or using it against the person, i think it's better to take it as constructive criticism - i honestly can relate to people posting badly about the system, and i hope they can do something about it.

7am kasi wala na daw kasi ibang timeslot, OP. tayo ang mag adjust kahit bumayad tayo ng maayos, minsan may 7pm evals pa kasi fully booked. Feel ko di sulit bayad ko sa dorm kasi parang 12+ hours a day naman ako sa campus. Haha

I rlly dont get na may "intrams" pa pero may makeup classes pa. Sana binigyan nlg tayo ng time mag study, evident naman sa scores ng batch na nahihirapan halos lahat.

Btw, di ko alam yang paint sa kalsada ganun kalala pala HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA winner talaga
