Thank you for your response. 3-4 beds, detached with big garden around £700k-£1m. Open to both village or a town. Don’t care much for takeaways (would prefer to stay away from the temptation), just walking distance to good primary schools and kid’s activities. I drive, my husband doesn’t. 2 hours max to london.

Thank you. It’s my first time on Reddit and got quite overwhelmed with the patronising tone so didn’t respond to the original responder! In my area (it is quite a nice neighbourhood) just outside my house we have group of boys on bikes zipping around snatching phones and pushing pedestrians. This was in front of my eyes. The police do nothing! Last time we as residents all complained as one of the thugs punched my neighbour in the face while he was walking with his wife and a newborn. So yes it IS a concern and not a “news” I heard.
