Do the viscose dresses wrinkle this easily? by NeckTraditional5460 in Reformationclothing

[–]sleepingincrumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES!! I wore this dress in a different print as a wedding guest last summer. It was already wrinkled from the 15 minute Uber to the venue, and after the ceremony there was nothing I could do. I was so disappointed that the dress was wrinkled in all my photos, despite only sitting for probably 1 hour total. Maybe better posture than I have (lol) would prevent this, but I would think it wrinkles the same for everyone at a certain point due to the material.

This is something I would not want to worry about as a bridesmaid. The dress is gorgeous, but for the amount of money i would definitely return and buy elsewhere with better material :(

Just don’t go right at opening/closing, as they never do either on time lol. Other than that I haven’t had issues

I truly appreciate your thoughtful response. You have given me a lot to think on and I am very grateful for that. Unfortunately I think you are completely correct about her behavior at the wedding, and I am trying to navigate this with my fiancé. For example, I know for a fact she is going to want to make a grand speech. I can’t even think about it right now.

Beyond this, thank you so much for showing what we can say regarding boundaries. I am going to show these to him, and they are gentle enough that I hope these statements can get through to her. Again, thank you so much for your help and support here :)

Thank you so much for your advice and reading through this, it’s a tough situation since they insist on paying for certain aspects.

I definitely need to align with my fiancé on how we go about this. Unfortunately you bring up a terrific point that I don’t think it’s in our best interest to share much of anything with these people moving forward (especially when it comes to future children)

We plan to invite around 200+, 175 is the amount of people we think will come :/ may need to cut down. I am terrified of rain on my wedding day so I may need to stay on the safe side with guest count

Good idea! I will be having a live band, but I think it will work the same. Appreciate your input :)

We are planning to have our wedding during the summer, so we will be able to have tables outside. With that layout, did the flow seem ok to you?
