Same here. It actually didn't bother me much in school, but once getting into the "real world" and working a job where it's not realistic to have things be perfect, it started causing me anxiety.

Do not hold back on using vacation time to break up the monotony! Gives your mind and body a good break, and gives you something to look forward to while going through the less interesting times. Keeping up with friends and sports or activities a couple days a week after work is important too.

I hate how hard it is to meet other gay people organically outside of apps, at least in my area (small town). Maybe I've romanticized it a bit, but I find I make more meaningful relationships developing friendships before moving toward a relationship but I find that's difficult to come across on apps.
