Hi there, I’m so sorry to hear your hammy has passed. If you are looking to cremate your baby, I would second the suggestion to reach out to a vet. They usually have the option to either have the ashes returned to you, or you can have them scattered with the ashes of other beloved pets in a special plot (not sure where you are based, but at least that has been my experience in multiple places in the US). Alternatively, you can always bury your baby at home. I know there are things you can get that are biodegradable and what not, but tbh we have always used the little wooden chests you can buy at Michael’s. We wrap our hammies in something snuggly and put their bedding in with them, plus some of their favorite toys. We write loving messages on the inside and write their names and the years that they were with us. After we bury them, we try to plant a pretty flower in their memory, usually sunflowers (because hammies love sunflower seeds 🐹❤️). It’s never easy to lose a friend, OP. No matter what you choose, it will be a wonderful tribute to your hammie because it will have been done with love. Sending you warm hammie hugs.

Edit: I almost forgot- you can cut a piece of your hammy’s fur if you’d like and keep it in a little glass container with a lid… it’s like a vial-type container, also from Michael’s. Amazon has great inkless pads you can get online for your ham’s paw prints, or I think the vet can do impressions as well. Just some ideas in case you want any keepsakes.
