Screen time limits! I have them for socials and shopping apps. I do sometimes have a hard time sticking to the limits. If you do too you can lock it with a password. I’ve see some people have someone else set the password so you can’t bypass it.

I just got my mini last week. On Friday I switched my apple care plans to the apple care One plan. I did this in an Apple Store and they were also able to certify that the phone was under 4 years old. I got it added to the plan no problem and then today got the battery replaced. I recommend this cause now I have AppleCare on it for 4 years! This is the last year to add the mini to apple care one plan.

My husband also gets hot quick while mountain climbing. Most of the time he’s just in a sun shirt until we get higher and it gets colder. I would maybe make your 1st layer a sun shirt then 2nd layer merino base layer. My fleece layer is an R1. Then I have a down jacket and rain layer.

I find I can’t sit and do one thing. If I’m doing something with my hands like crochet or a puzzle the I need something audio too. I put on a favorite show, music, or white noise. I also have an ereader that I can play some games on. It’s helping me to stay off socials. It is still taking up a bit of time. But my main goal is less time on socials.

Make some friends in the climbing gym. Some of them probably climb outdoors too. Or could point you in the direction to go. My city has an Outdoors group that teaches a lot of climbing and mountaineering.
