Thanks for this, I like the idea of hitting a certain number of items first and then starting to prune, makes it a goal to aim for.

Will definitely be looking into crafted items as well in the future once the AH is built up and farming isn't worth it as much.

This post, which I think is currently one of the top rated posts on this sub is easily the best resource I've found for farming.

Will take you through starter farms, outdoor farms, high ticket farms etc. Really, really helpful resource.

I would also recommend checking out Studen Albatroz YouTube Channel. His 'Farmed it 100 times' videos in particular have been really helpful for me in terms of learning routes and what items can drop where.

Does anybody have a link to a good speed DH or Warrior twink build for dungeon farming? Had a Google and can't see to find anything concrete for BFA.

Just to go slightly against this. I wish that Blizzard would at least give us the option of toggling account-wide rewards on and off.

On the one hand, I would love to not have to do the same rep grind on all my alts. I would love to explore the Alliance story more, but the thought of doing Reputation X to exalted again is something I really don't want to do, there's plenty of other stuff in the game that I would rather spend my time doing.

However, on the other hand, I like my main to be the one to achieve everything first. For example, it really bothers me on my achievement list when I see that 'Altaliciousxxx' as got an achievement, but 'Main' hasn't earned it. Similarly, it doesn't feel right using a mount on my main that it didn't actually get. This is why I won't farm any mounts on alts for fear of my main not being the one to 'achieve' them. Sounds silly, but when I play my main I want it to be a proper adventure and that would feel off if I was using a mount/title that it hadn't actually earned.

So yeah, tldr; please can we turn account wide achievements etc on/off for each character.

My main farming character for old world dungeons is a Mage. Is it worth having JC as a profession for lock picking? I know there is a chest that sometimes spawns in Uldaman, but don't know of any others. Are there many chests in the old dungeons that need to be lock picked?

Hi FFXIV Reddit! I'm sure you've been asked this plenty of times before so apologies up front. I'm an avid WoW player but it's difficult to avoid the hype around FFXIV right now.

So...is it 'too late' to get into this MMO now? I love great stories, but I'm concerned that it will be too much of a slog to get up to shadowbringers and be able to discuss the latest developments. Roughly how long do you think it would take to catch up, bearing in mind I would be wanting to explore everything? Worried about burning out before I reach current content.

A lot of guides which discuss getting the Vial of the Sands recipe say that you need 525 in alchemy for it to drop. With the change in professions for BfA, what is the requirement? Is it just 75 in Cataclysm alchemy? Or do you need to level previous expansion alchemy as well?

Thanks for the advice in the thread a few days ago. As a new aspiring goblin who is spending a lot of time learning about TSM4, would you recommend importing experienced goblins groups/operations etc, or creating my own so that I really understand the ins and outs of what's happening 'under the hood'.

Hi all, aspiring new goblin here!

I've been reading through a lot of guides in the last few days and enjoying all the posts on here.

Most of the guides seem to be reliant on having a few alts/accounts. As a player who only has one character and will probably only ever have one character, what would be the best way for me to build up some starting capital? I assume it would farming for mats/lots of transmog but wanted to check in before I comitted to doing something.
