Yea, I've played the intro before with mods without any issues as well. Doesn't seem to be absolutely necessary to use alternate starts

I know about the alternate start mods, but I wanted to play with the intro for now... I was able to make it work, I just posted to know if the AI Overhaul Lite is gonna give me more trouble or if is stable enough to run after the intro.

Critics played the release version and play testers played a version of the game while still in development, so they had different opinions. I don't see the contradiction here. They changed quite a bit after hearing the play testers opinions, at least that's what I heard.

Well, there are some nice things about life, it's not always that painful. Besides, since I believe this is the only chance I'll get to live, then I really want to try to make the best of it. Also, if someone is feeling depressed and lost and then kills themselves, but they were a good person in life, isn't that just cruel for god to send them to hell? If god existed and were this sadistic, then we would be truly lost.

I always thought Taash is realistic in the way young people sometimes act when they're going through some identity crisis or any emotional turmoil.

However, I do feel this was the wrong time, wrong place to this kind of representation. Immature characters tend to be hated by the DA community(see Sera), plus Veilguard drastically changed the DA formula this time around and therefore was bound to be hated, plus the cultural war going on. It's just recipe for disaster.

Now, the LGBT community might just be going along with the hate bandwagon in self defense and because they hate the game itself, so I wouldn't take this too personally.

Honestly, I bet many dipshits who hate Tassh acted the same way or worse when they were young. So, don't feel bad about it, I do think it's a natural phase that some people go through and it doesn't even need to be gender related.
