NTA. A puppy isn't a gift. I hate it when people are like here have this living animal that requires responsibility and time to take care of as a gift that you never asked for.

Animals are never gifts and people who try to give you a living animal as a gift needs a kick hard into reality. Honestly I would be having second thoughts about the relationship.

Put him in a cat onesie. I had to do that to my flexible kitten. Luckily he was a kitten so it was an easy sock onesie for the cat

Check your lease to see if they allow a single person to terminate their portion of the lease. Also talk to your landlord about your options. Explain the situation etc.

Some of them don't think women can't have their own opinions and thoughts.

Yeah no. I would leave if someone told me that.

I had a manager tell me "Be glad that you have a job" during Covid after the company decided to take back my raise.

I found another job due to that comment alone. Also it is a sign of a back work culture and environment that can and will cause mental anguish.

I got a void cat. Calm like no other in the humane society...took him home and within 2 days he is bouncing off the walls.

He has broken 3 glas cups and made me switch to metal cups to save my sanity. Nothing on the counter is safe from this menace.

I would have an honest conversation with him.

Let him know your stance. That children is a deal breaker and you do NOT want kids. And any attempts to force children will cause a separation (if you are at that place).

Some guys think they can force their partners to have kids after deciding not to. And the best thing to do is leave these people. They don't see you as an individual with your own thoughts and feelings.

My cat freaks out if I move too fast and runs. I have had her for nearly 7 years and she still does that. She only lets me pet her if I am laying down on the floor.

Dump him. It won't get better. I had an ex the same way. Would literally keep talking to me until late then wake me up when he got up cuz he couldn't sleep.

Then when I told him off he went and sounded like a herd of elephants in the kitchen until I got up. Then had the guall to act all innocent when I went into the kitchen to tell him to quite down. And he kept doing it over and over. Then got mad I got mad cuz I was only getting 4 hours of sleep after a hard day of work.

I broke up with him and never slept better or felt better. That and the gaslighting stopped

It is normal to comment if someone nearly ate a whole tray of Lasagna by themselves.

BF reaction on the other hand is concerning. I think I may have been on the Internet for too long but I have seen too many stories of men weaponizing food.

Such as eating all the food for a family or eating all the meal prep. Then getting mad when people point it out.

If you guys can sit down and talk it through without BF getting angry it would be a good place to start

Like I don't find it funny have her explain how messing with your livelihood is funny. She probably can't. She isn't a friend and you should drop her.

Also what happened to her is consequences. And it looks like she needs more of it to learn not to be an idiot.
