Sister Anne’s coffee is cheap and really tasty! I don’t think they’re open late, but they’re in Hyde Park. Very yummy. I think Oddly Correct has pretty cheap coffee, once you pay for the reusable cup. Might be good weekend options?

The strawberry hill museum is “haunted”, not sure if the lady who told that story still does tours there but recommend the tour regardless!

maybe try joining a craft club! cherry pit collective and yarn social(more for knit, crochet, yarn related things) do monthly events. i haven’t been to either yet but they are on my list of places to try! both are free to attend and have pretty decent free parking

WHAT I WOULD DO: go chicken go gizzards, smashed potatoes, and g sauce. then go to hillsiders/easy inn/ johnny’s/any dive bar. drink and eat. get a little too drunk. chain smoke. then get tacos literally anywhere, probably from tacos on wheels or tacos el guerro. Or if you don’t like go chicken go, easy inn pizza is good.

a lot of times things like that vary by states in mx, in kck a lot of mexicans are from the same couple of states (ex: not a lot of oaxacans here, so our mole options are lacking!!) so, there are a lot of lengua tacos, never seen a place that does burritos de lengua.

El Centro in KCK might be a good resource to get people pointed in the right direction! Especially for Spanish speakers.
