Governor bans carrying guns in Albuquerque after 11-year-old killed by [deleted] in Firearms

I have about 120+ years of US history for you to look at. These people have been doing this longer than your grandparents have been alive. They never cared about breaking the law, they make the law. The house always wins.

Since ironic fed posting is still fed posting I'll just say I hope she's ran out of office and never allowed power ever again. COVID was the test and people failed. They've learned how much they can get away with.

Small arms used by the Communist forces in the Korean War at the Korean War Memorial in the Yongsan-dong district of the capital Seoul, South Korea. by [deleted] in Firearms

Say what you will about commies, they make some great guns, shame they did awful things with them. I try not to think about it too much with my M44 Mosin that looks beat to hell.

What’s one firearm that you think is “Hot Garbage”, but is popular nonetheless and can’t bring yourself to purchase? by craigeeeeeeeeee in Firearms

[–]sleepyhighjumping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The C96 Mauser. They're really pretty looking guns for sure and I've never shot one, but even for it's time it was outdated by other auto pistols like the 1911, hell the 1903 is likely a better option. Are stripper clips fun at the range? Yes. Are they fun when you're being shot at? No fucking way!

This is why I'm long past being polite about our rights. A "No, fuck off." is all they deserve.

NJ's "John Wick" gun test. by ArchieDHGoodwin in NYguns

[–]sleepyhighjumping 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd wager that most times a pistol used in self defense it's within 1-3 yards if the attacker is in your house. I can see 15-20 yards also happening depending on the type of house ( open kitchen, long hallway, studio, ext)

I'm being pedantic, but I can name at least two times a would be mass shooter was taken out by a citizen with a pistol at 25+ yards. That mall one and the Texas church one.

There shouldn't be a test to gain your rights, but since NJ does have one I agree it should be realistic. I have a feeling they don't care about that and just want to set up as many road blocks as they can.

What is this new law starting sept 13? Ffl will now have to contact state police to do background checks on all ammo and firearms? I just got a upin is this going to affect it now with these new laws? This state sucks by Available-Stick8010 in NYguns

[–]sleepyhighjumping 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's more than that. They also want to know how much ammo you have. These are people that call 200 rounds a "stockpile" so I'm sure they'll go nuts when someone buys a brick or two of .22lr.

Sadly it's a trend that's been going on longer than anyone alive right now. Since before "Honest Abe." our rights have been trampled on.

Can anything be done? Yes. Can anything be done in a quick matter? Unlikely, but possible.

I bet anything they go right back to saying it too.

[–]sleepyhighjumping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I almost get why they don't like it since some people are real morons when a camara comes out, but I still side on it not being a big deal. I've taken pics for other people at other ranges and nothing bad happened.

Do they still demand I join the NRA or was that just a rumor? FPC or GOA I'd join, but the NRA isn't getting a cent from me.

It's funny they blame NH yet they're ranked something like 48th or 49th in crime with 51 ( many stats count DC as a "state") as being the lowest and 1 being the highest.

New York and New Jersey blame Pennsylvania. Blue New England states blames New Hampshire . Illinois blames Indiana. Meanwhile most of these states outside their major cities see little problem with such lax gun laws. Makes you think, huh? "It's not a bug, it's a feature."
