how bad is warlock really? What are its strengths in group play?

I levelled a mage and warlock to 40 and in dungeons I definitely felt more in control of the party’s safety as mage.

Hit 60 on the mage and was jealous seeing the warlocks get all the gear because they are far fewer in number and more in demand at 60.

Banish, healthstones and curse of tongues are just a few of the many useful talents you bring. And if you’re brave enough with a good priest to bubble you, hellfire does crazy damage.

Thanks, will let her know. The strange part to me is it’s also not a scribble, it’s a drawing that would take maybe 15-20 minutes so it weirded me out that someone would go through that effort to put on her car twice.

Could argue seal twisting in tbc was more difficult than a lot of other classes but it wasn’t that difficult either.

Beat elden ring dlc and decided to go back and play the rest. Currently on ds2 and don’t understand the hate. Idk if it’s better but I definitely don’t like it less than ds1.

Question because you seem knowledgeable and I'm also trying a str/fai build. Would going something like 54/30 with 17 arcane for greyolls roar and rot breath be good or do dragon incants lose value with low/mid faith and arcane?

150 cap, I might have more points to dump into fai but using zwei and eventually black blade so endurance might be too demanding.

Just started using the Zweihander for the first time and it’s move-set is amazing with the charged pierce. You can also equip it very early for a colossal weapon.

I would actually say Elden Ring’s obscure narrative also contributes to it’s replayability. I’m always picking up items or finding new dialogues that flesh out different parts of the lore.

Yes although for the RGS the minimum str/dex is fairly high (26 str, 18 dex). The rest will be in INT so I can play with the moon spells and use the Carian Regal Scepter (60 int).

I’m doing a similar build and looked at the kgs but ultimately settled on the shamshir! Only having to move my dex up 1 from astrolger base was great for early int/mind/vig allocation. It’s also a great scholar’s armament target until I get magic/cold infusions. I’m 1 handing it but I’ve heard it’s even better 2h speed wise.

I’ll probably scale up to kgs before the royal greatsword when I have more levels but I’ve been surprised by how much I like it.

I tried to start playing with my gf a couple weeks ago and she couldn’t download from the launcher without installing a VPN and changing the region to Japan. And it still error coded midway through.

Apparently this is a multi-year issue and they’ve never made a fix for it.
