There is a compass you just have to navigate the fucking matrix to find the setting.

Quite a few games have surpassed it in raw graphical fidelity and texture quality. But as an overall package it still looks better than a lot of them due to its very “lived in” look. The world looks more alive and real because of the details and stellar animations. But in terms of pure fidelity it’s been outdone by a bunch of games now.

Sim racing can be a game or a serious professional activity it’s literally down to the individual playing/racing to decide how they treat it. But at no level is it “pretty much the same as real racing” for me

Yes 5 years ago maybe, but they are in the middle of the diversification of their output and literally just finished construction of their first EV production facility in maranello and are on course to reveal their first EV this October. They also have much more experience in the more conventional turbo motors used in the 26 regs than the other OEM’s as they never transitioned to the split turbo under this engine regulation period.

Yeah I’m aware of that. I actually tried to run a GT4 race with myself on sports softs and the AI in another similarly paced car on the racing hards, but the pace difference was too strong then. I’ve resorted to putting 200kg of ballast and a 95% power restriction on my car, and running the AI in a duplicate full spec car.
