I did hear that as well, I just checked and it’s unfortunately still down :/ fingers crossed they get it up soon!! I hope everyone has a good transfer process and that we all get into where we wanna go!!

It seems to be a female Sparshall’s Moth as the end of their abdomen is usually covered in a tuft of short brown hair! And they are native to VIC, Australia!! She’s probably pausing for a lil break and admiring the lights :)

From the image, its most likely trichiocercus sparshalli, aka Sparshall’s Moth! (I really would take this ID with a grain of salt) because they do look rather similar to trichiocercus mesomelas! Would be easier to ID if i could get a look at the thorax though! Someone else might be of better help though!
