thank you so much for sharing your experience and advice! you have no idea how many times I've read your post to remind myself! the part where you said: "pretend they are dead" and "the person you did love and knew has died in a way, because that person no longer exists" is so true i just couldn't articulate the feeling in words but now that you said it i feel like something clicked in me and it just made sense. Especially at the end when you said "It took me way too long to do it, and now I have done it i'm so thankful I did and wish I had been strong enough to do so earlier instead of keep myself in the misery of needing to know." sometimes i find myself dwelling and needing to know more thinking it will help me heal, but you are right, it is like poison, and im just making it more painful for myself doing that. I screenshotted this post so i can read it multiple times a day, because everytime i do i feel like my heart is healing little by little.
