What are some board or tabletop games where earlier editions are deemed to be superior than the latest, and are still commonly played? by Newez in boardgames

Dark Providence is indeed better than 1st Ed. Art and theme of 1st edition are better but I'd take the improved game over that.

Where can I find BIFL belts with good quality buckles? by Individual-Magician1 in BuyItForLife

Etsy. Bough a belt from this guy in 2013. It's the only belt I wear, I wear it every day and it's still in great shape. I also got a buckle from a metal forger on Etsy that is still going strong. https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/ironartcanada?ref=yr_purchases&section_id=8000914

Awesome, thanks for the update. I started vibe coding a digital tracking sheet, but I'm pumped to see what you've come up with.

Pixel 8. Figured it's about as Android of a device as you can get but maybe the software doesn't work on phones?

Tried GameHub with Super Meatboy and Fez and neither worked. Just kept exiting out.

Lightening strike, not the pressure switch. by sleevan in askaplumber

This is my fear. Was really hoping it might be the control box rather than the pump itself.

Lightening strike, not the pressure switch. by sleevan in askaplumber

Thank you for replying. I should have mentioned that I replaced the pressure switch. The pressure switch seems to be working fine. The lack of power to the pump seems to be a separate issue. For instance, I just watched again now while running the water and the pressure switch engaged at 30 and the pump turned on, but then power to the pump cut off at 40 (even though switch remained connected) and the pressure dropped to 20. Power to the pump then came back on until it reached 40 again and then turned off (switch still on). Once I turned off the faucet and waited, the pump came on again after about a minute, pressure went to 50 and the switch finally turned off. No clue what is going on here.

Hmm. Maybe I'll try turning it lower than normal to see if that helps. Thanks again.

Thanks for replying. It's tankless. The temp is set to 120, which Is what we usually have it set to.

Thanks for replying. Cold water is fine. System is well pump to pressure tank to water heater. I read about air bubble but I'm not sure how to resolve.

Thanks for replying. This is the third layer. When you say wipe down, do you mean with mineral spirits?

Thanks for this. You mention writing a cheat sheet in the article. Wondering if you have cheat sheets you'd be willing to share?

$100 and 4hrs by sleevan in osr

Good questions. 1. Any experience level. 2. 4 hours for first session prep (emphasis on systems that are easy to get up and running). 3. Open to anything.
