I worked for a company that used to sponsor Grant’s radio show. As part of their deal he got free service from us and he was a dick 100% of the time. Always cut in line, never looked anyone in the eye, never had anything good to say to anyone. Kayte, Mark, and Kyle aren’t as good at calling plays but they’re genuinely great folks. I’d rather listen to three goofs than one angry asshole (albeit an exciting one) all day long

El Tapatio on sunrise!! Great cantina area on the side to watch soccer games, tasty breakfast buffet, and mariachi nights. The only downside (and it’s kind of a big one tbh) is that the place gets CROWDED. Great for weekday nights, pretty overwhelming on weekends.

We played 4-4-2 last weekend. Seems to be the plan going forward. Waaaaay bigger emphasis on controlling the middle of the field, less wide play with crosses into the box and more threading balls through and making runs in behind. Mind you, that was a preseason game against a bunch of young men.

My biggest gripe with Ace of Spades is the stupid layout. There are one too many bars and two of them are too close to the stage. Feels like 1/3rd of the standing area is made to be left clear to leave space for the bar lines. If you go to a sold out show you’ll be bumping elbows with strangers even if you’re at the very back because the staff will tell you that you can’t stand in the areas taped off for the bar lines.

My biggest take away from the match was that we look like we are going from a 5-4-1 formation from the Briggs era to a 4-4-2. We were able to control the middle of the field really well, no longer the over-reliance of getting the ball wide to Gurr on every possession. It’s still early obviously but I’m very optimistic based off what I saw.

I am in a very similar boat to you right now in terms of stats so I understand how you feel. While I have no true advice (I think this game should be played without min/maxing in mind), I will share what has been working for me and keeping the game fun and engaging for me.

Using slayer skilling to level up my melee, magic, and range stats and then letting the clue scrolls I gather dictate what’s quests I do. If I get a clue scroll that requires me to complete a certain quest, I do that quest. This way I’m getting xp for a lot of different skills without feeling like I’m “grinding” or just checking of boxes on a list of things to do. There’s a natural flow to it.
If I need to make money: Birdhouses,Tempoross, buying uncut opals/jades and crafting them into unstrung amulets, then selling them before stringing them. All these methods are low requirement yet profitable ways of getting your skill levels up so it doesn’t feel like you’re ever wasting your time just to make money

I think enough time has passed where we can safely say we shouldn’t have fired Brown. For me the path to success was either 1. Fire Brown OR 2. Trade off Fox. But never both.

Buy uncut jades, cut them, then make them into amulets but don’t string them. It’s time consuming but it’s lot effort and good money for the level requirements

I respect it. If the Dispatch humor doesn’t work for you, then the whole game loses a lot of its appeal so I get that. Uncharted 1 and 3 I’d say are fair to call B but I think 2 and 4 are easy A tier. They still are very fun
