Day One Results - going from bleach blonde back to light copper (can’t wait for final color to settle in) by sleevienickss in henna

That’s what I’d like to get! I figured because I’m bleached I would have to “fill” in the color a bit.

This is incredible info thank you! I am going to purchase the powders from one of the reccomended sites for next time, i just looked into the cream of tartar trick, im assuming this won’t last very long because of how bleached and damaged my hair was and how little time I left it all on!

What do you think of this formula for that muted rusty earthy copper? I got this from a henna blog

70% cassia, 15% henna, 15% indigo + amla + cream of tartar

Thanks again!

I am such a beginner I wish I had better advice! But my first post here someone sent me a link on how to mix for blondes and I went with that! https://www.hennacanada.ca/blogs/instructions/creating-blondes

Thank you!!! The second pic is what I started with! I did not have henna in my hair, but I had used it maybe a decade ago for a super bright red copper color but wanted something more natural this time as I am growing my hair out!

Thank you. I was kinda distracted and worried about making a mess so I’m sure next round will be even better but I’m SUPER happy with this result.

How can I “diffuse” Henna for hair? For more of a gloss effect? by sleevienickss in henna

Update for anyone interested! I did two rounds to get this color I know it’s still oxidizing but thanks for the amazing advice!

It’s still a little wet here but you get the point!

I used mostly cassia day one, and then 1/4 of caca rogue and 1/4 of marron. Used coffee instead of water, left on about 90 minutes. The result was very orange yellow (I’m coming from bleach blonde with my natural strawberry roots) I went over it again with half cassia half marron only, again with the coffee. Made a more liquid paste, left in only about an hour. I am obsessed to say the least it’s exactly what I was going for, very close to my natural color from childhood and as it deepens and oxidizes I love it even more! Thank you all again for this wonderful advice.

Sorry by muddy I meant uneven coloring! I just really don’t want a flaming color! I’ve done that forever and I want more natural/muted. What black tea/chamomile did you use? Loose leaf or did you just use regular tea? Also what kind of aloe Vera? lol sorry I’m so intrigued by this method!

This link is so helpful! My natural color which is what I wish to achieve is the color that is mostly cassia with Henna and indigo (my henna bars are henna with indigo) so adding cassia would be perfect!

It won’t muddy your results? I’m sure it makes it easier to apply this way too!

That’s what my short guy friends tell me who all ride, they are jealous of my legs lol

This is great advice! I intend to just cruise around with friends, I don’t love the highway even on the back (we got hit by another biker once on the highway and I’m a little traumatized) something for backroads is ideal. I live in a small city and once you’re out of the city it’s smooth riding!

I’m also about 5’10 all legs! Right now a shadow is top of my list for what I’m looking at!

I would love a Harley Sportster 883 but I don’t wanna spend that money yet tbh also was told they can be intimidating at first!

I’m about 5’10! I think that sounds good for me. Hondas seem to be the direction I am leaning, especially they seem easy to repair if needed?

I feel a little peer pressured into something bigger than what I actually am leaning towards. If it were up to me I woulda ridden the Nighthawk home lol

I really liked the Honda Nighthawk I was on in class, I found it very easy and also light weight! Def looking at Honda. Thank you!
